Malaysia Airlines Shares Festive Cheer with
Ministry of Health (KKM) Frontliners in KLIA
-
Malaysia Airlines’ Head In-Flight Operations, Ivy Tan (4th from left to right) and Malaysia Airlines’ Head Corporate Safety Oversight, Dato' Dr. Mohammad Razin Kamarulzaman (5th from left to right) handed over the Mandarin oranges to Dr. Maisarah Kamaruzaman (3rd from left to right) from KLIA Health Department in KL International Airport.
KLIA, 10 February 2021: In conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year festivity, Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) today contributed Malaysia Airlines' inflight products consisting of 200 pieces of amenity kits and ten cartons of Dilmah Tea as well as oranges for the Ministry of Health (KKM) front liners at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
The items were shared as a token of appreciation to the frontline health workers who worked tirelessly since the pandemic COVID-19 struck the country.
In KLIA, over 180 officers from the Health Quarantine Centre, Ministry of Health Malaysia were tasked to conduct compulsory COVID-19 document check and screening tests for arriving passengers from international destinations.
In conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration, Malaysia Airlines recently released a special festive video titled A Twist in Tradition to spread the festive cheer. The story depicted how a Chinese family, the Wongs, who were not able to gather for the reunion dinner tradition, found creative ways to usher in the year of the Ox with the whole family while adhering to the SOPs in place.
To make the festivity more special, Malaysia Airlines has also introduced the Chinese New Year Limited Edition Signature Peanuts Gift Box, which can also be used as a condiment for Yee Sang, made available via the airline's flagship e-retail store, Temptations at https://temptations.malaysiaairlines.com/.
