MAG Congratulates Ministry of Transport on Malaysia’s Re-election to the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Council

KLIA, 5 October 2022: Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) congratulates the Ministry of Transport (MOT) on Malaysia’s re-election to the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Council under Part III for the sixth consecutive term, as announced today.

The re-election recognises the prominent work that Malaysia has contributed in support of a safe, efficient, secure, economically sustainable, and environmentally responsible civil aviation sector.

Group Chief Executive Officer of MAG, Captain Izham Ismail said, “The win demonstrates Malaysia's strong commitment, dependability and leadership in the international civil aviation sector. It is also a recognition of Malaysia's ability to develop policies and framework to further spur the recovery of both national and global aviation industry while continuing to strive to achieve ICAO’s strategic objectives."
