KLIA, 2 March 2022: With the full reopening of Australia’s borders for eligible tourists beginning 3 March 2022, Malaysia Airlines will be reinstating connectivity to Perth with twice weekly flights and five times weekly to Sydney. Starting April, frequency to Perth will be increased to five times weekly and seven times weekly to Sydney.

Fares to Sydney are also available from as low as RM2,929 all-in return via the airlines’ Economy Class and RM8,199 via its Business Class; bookable from now and for immediate travel up to 28 March 2022.

For those looking to travel closer to home and explore the beauty of its own backyard, Malaysia Airlines is offering significant savings on airfares to all domestic destinations within its network from now until 13 March 2022. Customers can enjoy fares from as low as RM79 all-in one-way via its Economy Class and RM359 on its Business Class to destinations within Peninsular Malaysia for immediate travel up to 30 June 2022.

For sight seekers yearning to explore the natural wonders of Sarawak and Sabah, now is a great time to do so, as fares to these routes from Kuala Lumpur starts from RM109 and RM119 respectively.

Fares between Penang to Kota Kinabalu and Kuching are also available for as low as RM109 and RM169 respectively for travel up to 10 April 2022, before its sister airline, Firefly, resumes its jet operations from Penang International Airport on 11 April 2022. Customers may also take advantage of direct flights from Johor Bahru to Langkawi at attractive fares staring from RM59.
